There are three areas of competition: Interview, Fashion Runway, and Evening Gown.
Interview and Evening Gown are each worth 40% of your score. Fashion Runway is worth 20% of your score.

You do not have to have any previous pageant experience to compete at the Alabama, Louisiana, or Mississippi Elementary, Jr. High, High School, or Collegiate America pageants!
It is our goal for contestants to have fun, make friends, and grow in confidence! The Alabama, Louisiana, & Mississippi High School America pageants are for everyone!

Junior High School, High School, and Collegiate winners from the Alabama, Louisiana, & Mississippi will go on to compete at the prestigious National pageant, Miss High School America in the summer of 2027!
Elementary winners will have the option to compete at the prestigious National pageant, Miss Elementary America in the summer of 2027!
About the National Pageant
Miss High School America Organization
The Miss High School America Scholarship Pageant Organization was started in 2009, for the purpose of providing personal and professional opportunities for young women. It is our goal to provide outstanding junior high, high school, and collegiate girls the opportunity to compete in a prestigious national level scholarship pageant.
The Miss High School America Pageant Organization, partnered with the Livingston Foundation, has awarded over $500,000 in cash scholarship to our national winners over the last ten years. Each National winner is awarded a prize package totaling over $100,000 in scholarships, travel, wardrobe, photoshoots and prizes each year.
